According to VentureBeat, 2015 was the slowest year for tech IPOs since 2009. Only 23 tech companies were listed on the public market, down 58% from 2014. The companies together raised $4.2 billion, which was less than one-seventh of the returns in 2014. Some of the tech IPOs of this year include Match Group, Square, FitBit and Etsy among others.
