Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said the 2024 Lok Sabha elections were "prachand haar" for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Congress leader said, "He is 1/3rd PM -Narendra-Naidu-Nitish. They won't be able to run the alliance. They (BJP) believe in 'demo-kursi' not democracy." Notably, the BJP won 240 seats, while its alliance won majority with 292 seats in Lok Sabha elections.
