As many as 206 kidney stones were removed from a patient in Hyderabad's Aware Gleneagles Global Hospitals. The 56-year-old patient, Veeramalla Ramalakshmaiah, reportedly suffered from severe pain in his left loin due to stones for over six months, which was further aggravated due to soaring temperatures. The surgery lasted for an hour, post which patient recovered well, a doctor said.
