Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bought Uttar Pradesh's 20-year-old batter Sameer Rizvi for ₹8.4 crore, 42 times his base price of ₹20 lakh. Sameer has played 11 T20 matches so far. He has scored 295 runs at a strike rate of 134.70 in T20 cricket. DC and GT also bid for Rizvi during the IPL 2024 auction being held in Dubai.
