21-yr-old director's debut film 'Backrooms' earns $400 mn globally

YouTuber-director Kane Parsons' directorial debut, 'Backrooms,' crossed the $400 million mark worldwide, becoming indie production house A24's highest-grossing film ever. The 21-year-old director's film was made on a $10-million budget and has earned $197.5 million in the US and $202.57 million globally. Upon release, Kane earned the title of youngest director with a No 1 film at the box office.
