Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik said on Thursday that 222 victims of the Air India plane crash have been identified so far. He added that 214 of them were identified through DNA sampling, while 8 were identified without it. A total of 270 people were killed in the crash, which occurred on June 12 shortly after takeoff.
