Sonu Yadav, a 22-year-old club cricketer, died after collapsing on-field during a match at Bata Club ground. Yadav, who represented Ballygunge Sporting Club in Cricket Association of Bengal's second division, was going back to the tent after finishing his batting when he suddenly collapsed. He was quickly rushed to the SSKM hospital where he was declared brought dead.
