At least 23 people died in a fire at Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Goa. Several tourists were among the victims in the blaze, which broke out around midnight. The fire is suspected to have been caused by cylinder blast. "Today is a very painful day for all of us in Goa," Goa CM Pramod Sawant wrote on X.
