At least 235 people were killed and over 1,500 remain missing after two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude struck Venezuela on Wednesday. Over 100 buildings collapsed in country’s La Guaira region alone, the UN said. Acting President Delcy Rodriguez declared state of emergency and said government is setting up a $200 million reconstruction fund for hospitals and homes.
