The Delhi government seized around 250 overage vehicles ahead of the G20 summit and sent them for scrapping. According to an order, no vehicle that is 15 years old can operate in Delhi. Around 50 lakh vehicles were deregistered between January and October last year. An official claimed that these vehicles are one of the biggest contributors to pollution.
