At least 256 traders who have been selling chaat, paan, tea, samosas, and other snacks through small stalls in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur turned out to be crorepatis in an Income Tax Department and GST probe. These traders didn't pay any tax outside the GST registration. However, they purchased properties worth more than ₹375 crore, the probe revealed.
