In Bihar, there is 27.13% backward class and 36.01% extremely backward class, state Additional Chief Secretary Vivek Kumar Singh has said citing the caste-based census report. He added that the General category is 15.52%. Earlier, Bihar Government had informed Supreme Court that an exercise of conducting surveys of the caste census in the state was conducted by August 6.
