The Civil Aviation Ministry said DigiYatra, which has reduced airport entry time for passengers, will be expanded to 27 more airports by next year. The facial recognition-based contactless travel system is currently available at 38 airports. According to the ministry, the DigiYatra app has facilitated over 10 crore seamless journeys so far and has crossed 2.4 crore downloads.
