2-time Olympian, Indian football legend PK Banerjee passes away

Two-time Olympian and Indian football legend PK Banerjee passed away on Friday aged 83 after battling a prolonged illness. He was part of the team that finished fourth at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics, India's best-ever finish at Olympics till now. Banerjee, who scored 65 international goals in 84 appearances, also captained the team in its last Olympic appearance in 1960.
