3,700 people hospitalised after sandstorm hits Iraq

Nearly 3,747 people have been hospitalised after a sandstorm swept Iraq, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. Most of the cases were reported in Baghdad, followed by al-Muthanna. "We have not faced any problems in providing medicines, medical supplies, or oxygen," an official said. Though sandstorms are common in Iraq, experts believe climate change is why they've become more frequent.
