Deputy chief of a Kuki insurgent group which is under banner of Kuki National Organisation (KNO) was shot dead in an ambush in Manipur's Churachandpur. Two other members of Kuki National Army (KNA) and a bystander were also killed in attack claimed by United Kuki National Army. KNO was among two groups which signed ceasefire with Centre and state government.
