Three children, two staff members died on Tuesday after an 18-year-old man launched a knife attack at a daycare in Brazil's Santa Catarina state, police said. The attacker then turned the weapon on himself, slitting his neck, abdomen, and torso, and is in critical condition in hospital, police added. Three days of mourning have been declared across the state.
