Three people, including two women, were allegedly thrashed and forced to consume human excreta over the suspicion of practicing witchcraft in Jharkhand's Giridih, police said on Tuesday. Police have arrested four persons in connection with the case while one accused is currently absconding. The accused reportedly suspected that the victims performed rituals that made people fall ill in the area.
