Directorate General of Shipping issued an advisory for Indian ships and seafarers regarding the situation in Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, Gulf of Oman, etc amid the war in the Middle East. It stated that three Indian seafarers have been killed and one injured due to incidents on foreign-flagged vessels. It noted threats of missiles and drones in the region.
