3 Indians on dunki route to US go missing in Ethiopia; family gets ₹1 cr ransom call

Three Gujarat residents travelling to US via the illegal dunki route went missing in Ethiopia on September 22, with their families later receiving a ransom call from a man demanding ₹1 crore, PTI reported. Their family has sought the government's intervention to bring the three back. The family had reportedly paid ₹70 lakh for each to send them to US.
