At least three patients died and two others were injured after the third-floor balcony of medicine ward collapsed at Jamshedpur's Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital in Jharkhand, police said. The accident occurred around 3 pm on Saturday. State Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari announced ₹5 lakh financial assistance to families of the deceased and ₹50,000 each to injured.
