3 lawyers' collectives with over 700 members demand BCI chief's resignation over NALSAR row
Three lawyers' collectives, with over 700 members, demanded resignation of Bar Council of India (BCI) Chairman Manan Mishra over the NALSAR controversy. They said other members of Bar Council should invoke a no-confidence motion against Mishra if he does not resign. This comes after Mishra apologised to law students after first issuing a directive barring 2026 NALSAR graduates from enrolment.
