A three-month-old baby from Karnataka's Davanagere died despite being shifted in a zero-traffic ambulance for advanced treatment in Manipal. The ambulance suffered a tyre puncture en route, which caused a delay, forcing an emergency diversion to Shivamogga. Despite immediate treatment at Sarji Hospital, doctors could not save the infant. The incident left the family devastated.
