As part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, the Election Commission of India (ECI) said, "Every three out of four electors in Bihar have already submitted their enumeration forms." As per ECI, 5,87,49,463 (5.8 crore) out of nearly 7.9 crore voters have submitted forms, accounting for 74.39% of the total. SIR instructions were issued on June 24.
