Bihar Police has arrested three people and seized 50 grams of radioactive substance called Californium from them. Police has informed Department of Atomic Energy and called in forensic experts to examine the substance, which is reportedly worth ₹850 crore. The trio, who worked as labourers, is believed to be involved in illegal transport and sale of radioactive substances.
