A Kolkata court on Saturday sentenced three convicts to death and three others to life imprisonment, for the gangrape and murder of a 20-year-old student in Kamduni, West Bengal. The court held the crime as rarest of rare, even while acquitting two others due to lack of evidence. The ninth accused passed away in custody during the trial.
