Three people were arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle gold at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in separate incidents and gold worth ₹93.3 lakh was recovered. In one incident, gold in spray form, which was hidden by spraying on undergarments, and in chain form were seized from two accused. The third accused tried to hide the gold in a briefcase.
