China on Monday made the second-largest incursion into Taiwan's Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ) this year, with Taipei reporting 30 aircraft, including 22 fighter jets, entering the area. Taiwan in response sent aircraft and deployed air defence missile systems to track the Chinese planes, Taiwan's Defence Ministry said. Thirty-nine Chinese military planes had entered ADIZ on January 23.
