Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), Meitei apex body, held a rally in Imphal and submitted a memorandum to the Manipur government. However, tensions escalated at multiple locations as security personnel tried to stop the advancing crowd, leading to clashes. At least 30 people were injured as rally turned violent, and security forces fired tear gas shells to disperse protesters.
