A research by Norwegian University of Science and Technology suggests just 30 minutes of high-intensity exercise per week can improve cardiovascular fitness. This equals about 10 minutes every other day, provided the workout makes a person breathe heavily. Researchers said good cardio fitness can reduce risk of over 30 lifestyle diseases and premature death by 40-50%.
