30 sovereigns of gold stolen in Koyilandy burglary

A house in Koyilandy was burgled, with around 30 sovereigns of gold ornaments reportedly stolen. The thieves allegedly broke open the front door, smashed a cupboard and took the jewellery kept inside. The family was staying elsewhere as renovation work was underway. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify the suspects.
