Thirty breastfeeding mothers were enlisted by Dublin Zoo to try to help an orangutan bond with her newborn. The orangutan, which has not been feeding her baby, was "extremely interested" in watching the women feed their babies. She previously gave birth to two babies, but the zoo said she "did not exhibit the necessary maternal qualities" and both died.
