300 kg crocodile trapped after 7-month hunt in Kothayar area

A 300 kg crocodile that terrified locals in Kothayar for over seven months has been trapped by a special forest team. After repeated failed attempts using chicken and goats as bait, officials set nets along its usual routes. The crocodile was caught near the Nilakkal river path and shifted to the Zero Point forest office there for safekeeping, officials said.
