About 31% of the Rajya Sabha MPs have declared criminal cases against themselves, according to a report that analysed the records of 226 lawmakers. Of these, 16% have declared serious criminal cases, the data showed. Separately, about 87% of the 226 Rajya Sabha MPs are 'crorepatis' and the average net worth of the lawmakers is ₹79.54 crore, the report said.
