31-year-old dies after falling from motorboat at Payippad

A 31 year old man, Ebin Thomas, died after falling from a motorboat during the Payippad Jalotsavam. Ebin, a crew member, reportedly felt unwell and fell into the 25-foot-deep river near the finishing point. Fire and Rescue personnel recovered him after a 30-minute search, but doctors at Haripad Taluk Hospital could not save him.
