32-foot waves wiped out villages, some areas don’t exist anymore: Official on Nepal disaster

Nepalese authorities have said that villages have been wiped out by 32-foot waves, as per a spokesperson for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. "It's shocking. The scale of devastation is immense. There are areas that simply don't exist anymore. It's huge," Tommaso Della Longa said. "Around 10,000 families are without a home anymore," he added.
