RSP senior leader and party's PM candidate Balen Shah has defeated four-time PM KP Sharma Oli in Nepal elections by 49,614 votes. Shah's party is on course to win majority in the 275-member lower house of parliament, as per projections. Vote counting is under way for ​165 seats filled by direct election, while rest will be decided through proportional representation.
