Speaking about the anti-encroachment drive near Syed Faiz Elahi Mosque in Delhi, which sparked protests and clashes, injuring a few police personnel, MCD official Vivek Agarwal said that the demolition drive was carried out on orders of Delhi High Court. "It involved an area of approximately 36,000 square feet, which included a diagnostic centre and a wedding hall," he added.
