A 36-year-old prisoner identified as Mohamed Hanif Mohamed Iqbal Sheikh allegedly died by suicide inside a toilet of Arthur Road jail in Mumbai on Thursday. He didn't answer when his name was called out in the morning. "He had even kept the tap running so that inmates and authorities believe that he was taking a bath," said a police inspector.
