Four of the biggest technology companies in the US have added more than $500 billion in market value this week. The development comes amid concerns about contagion in the country's financial sector. Microsoft surged the most this week at 12%, nearing its best week in about eight years. Meanwhile, Apple, Amazon and Alphabet stocks recorded gains of 5% to 12%.
