A day after several Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders including Mukul Roy's son Subhranshu Roy joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), four more TMC leaders joined the BJP on Wednesday. TMC MLA Monirul Islam, Gadadhar Hazra, Mohd Asif Iqbal and Nimai Das joined the BJP. The BJP won 18 seats in West Bengal in Lok Sabha elections and TMC 22 seats.
