Around 40 people were arrested a day after several police personnel were injured during violence in Kolkata's Park Circus area against a recent demolition drive. "I will not tolerate attacks on police personnel, and strict action will be taken against those who violate law," West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari said. Protesters allegedly threw stones at the police during the protest.
