About 40% of the money lost in fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya and PNB scam cases involving Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi has been realised by the banks, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) said. It said attached/seized assets worth ₹9,041.5 crore were transferred to banks. Overall, Mallya, Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi caused a total loss of ₹22,586 crore to the banks.
