The 400-year-old Mughal-era Barapullah Bridge, which had fallen into disrepair, has been restored by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). "The structure now mostly resembles the original Mughal structure and is open for the public to visit," Superintending Archaeologist Rajkumar Patel said. The structure is located beneath the modern Barapullah flyover and behind Nizamuddin railway station.
