4000 employees can lose job as 20 firms plan to exit Maharashtra

Around 20 companies in Chakan, Maharashtra are considering relocating because of severe traffic congestion, poor roads and inadequate infrastructure. The industrial belt is facing problems including potholes, water shortages, unreliable electricity and waste management issues. The Pune district administration has set August 31 as a deadline for agencies to repair roads, remove encroachments.
