41% of US immigrants say they worry that they or a family member could be detained or deported, a sharp increase from 26% in 2023, according to 2025 Survey of Immigrants. The largest increases have been seen among lawfully present immigrants, where concern rose from 33% to 50% and naturalised citizens, where it jumped from 12% to 31%, it found.
