A 410-foot building-sized asteroid, 2025 YU15, will pass Earth today at a speed of 21,306 mph (34,288 kmph), according to NASA. At its closest, it will be about 3.66 million miles (5.89 million kilometres) away, a distance scientists consider relatively close in space terms. Experts have stressed that the asteroid poses no immediate threat to Earth.
