Central government employees who donate their organs are now eligible for up to 42 days of special casual leave, as per orders from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). This leave covers hospitalization and recovery post-surgery and applies to all types of organ donations. The policy aims to encourage organ donation as a welfare measure.
