A 43-year-old IT engineer, Prashant Shridhar Kantawar, was arrested for allegedly ramming into a traffic policeman and dragging him atop his car bonnet for around 700-800 metres along Kharadi bypass in Pune. The incident occurred when the policeman levied a traffic violation charge on him worth ₹400 and the accused tried to escape in a bid to evade the fine.
