46% children suffer from long-COVID after infection: Lancet study

Around 46% children who contract COVID-19 could suffer from long-COVID for at least two months after infection, Lancet study has found. While 40% of children diagnosed with COVID-19 in the 0-3 age group experienced long-COVID, the proportion in 4-11 and 12-14 groups was 38% and 46%, respectively. Common symptoms reported in these children include mood swings, stomach aches, fatigue etc.
